Caution:

• To open the tailgate, the bikes must be unloaded and the carrier flap secured against folding down. The holding mechanism of the open tailgate is not designed for the additional load with the loaded rear bike carrier.
• The original dampers of the tailgate are too weak for the rear bike carrier, especially in winter. In this case, 2 x 447 980 03 64 64 (gas spring) must be fitted.
