Product description:
Clear lines and timeless elegance: In August 1965, Mercedes-Benz introduced a new generation of upper-class models with the 250 S, 250 SE, and 300 SE types, succeeding the tailfin models 220 Sb, 220 SEb, and 300 SE. The production of the 250 SE and 300 SE models ended at the beginning of 1968 - their successors, the 280 S and 280 SE types, were introduced in January, differing only in engine and equipment details from their predecessors. The newly developed 2.8-liter six-cylinder engine delivered 140 hp in the carburetor version, while the fuel injection version produced 160 hp. In keeping with the original, the miniature model of the successful W 108 series is presented with the highest level of detail and not only painted in the authentic color but also features a faithful representation of the entire interior. The model’s doors, hood, and trunk can be opened, offering a view inside the car. The model car is delivered in Mercedes-Benz Classic packaging, which includes a screwdriver for easy removal and a glove to protect against fingerprints on the glass and body.
